"Conquest" by Pope L, presented by the Public Art Fund.

Last weekend world renowned performance artist Pope L (see his website here) in collaboration with Public Art Fund (visit their website here) presented the artists largest scale work to date CONQUEST. 140 humans of all races, genders, and walks of life crawling in relay from NYC’s West Village, through Washington Square Park, and ending in Union Square. Yes crawling. Blindfolded. And with flashlights. (Insert your interpretation here.) It was a huge operation with a slew of volunteers involved, and as you can imagine it captured the attention of thousands of New Yorkers along its route over the nearly 5 hours it took to complete.
